Seasons

Oh mind,

Oh soul,

You waver and waver,

Have you no support?

In the autumn,

The time of decay,

You fall.

Oh mind, you forget the ways or truth,

You loser your conscience,

Oh soul, you are in pain.

Why do you forget the true name?

In the winter,

The time of death,

You destroy your spirit,

Oh mind,

You participate in evil ways,

You indulge in the five thieves,

Oh soul, you cry out in pain.

The mind forgets the soul,

And does wicked deeds.

Oh mind, you have emptied your naam account,

Your soul is locked in a prison.

Look at what you have done.

In the spring,

The time of rebirth,

Oh mind you remember your soul,

Your soul begins to rise,

Your mind becomes clean,

Oh wicked thieves, you lose hope.

The mind becomes strong

And replenishes the soul,

Oh mind, as the sun rises

Corruption shall fall.

In the summer,

The time of splendor,

Joy and happiness arise in the soul,

Oh mind, you rejoice with the soul.

In wonderment, you are filled with pleasure.

You have replenished your naam account

And live in harmony with all.

The five thieves have left you,

Oh mind, you are beautiful.

As the four seasons have passed,

So have you traveled the four ages,

Oh mind,

You change with each season,

You waver with the ages,

Oh mind, you have wasted eternity.

But now, in this winter of kaljug,

You have found the true guru.

Oh blessed mind, be saved.

Forget the wretched thieves,

Embrace your true beloved,

Daas, By holding his hand you will be saved.
